Goldman Sachs Praises County Prep Students for Jobs Well Done

(Jersey City, NJ -- August 15, 2007) Two County Prep students, Neha Kapedia and Hamad Pershad participated in the Goldman Sachs & Co. Intern Program this past summer, during a six week program that began in July. Each intern received a letter of recognition for their services from the New York based financial services company.
 
Managing Director of Cross Divisional Projects and Architecture, Damian Sutcliffe, praised Neha for her contributions. Neha's responsibilities included three main project areas : the redesign of their group website, management of their social committee, and assistance to the EPRG (Entity and Product Resource Group), a group that oversees legal entities and financial products. She was particularly noted for creating a manual for the use of several new functions in the XDIV website redesign. She also collected feedback on the SDIV social committee's activities and presented her findings to the team on August 16.
 
Vice President of Treasury Operations Misuku Matsuda recognized Hamad Pershad for contributions made to  Merchant Bank Operations. His daily functions included cash movements, money market order trades, check deposits and cancelled check inquiries, account set up, and monthly distributions. Hamad also worked on several special projects, including the yearly volatility ILA analysis, creating a procedure manual for check inquiries, updating the authorized signatory listing, and creating  Merchant Bank presentation and presenting it to the GS management,
