Jersey City resident Evan Pimentel, a senior at County Prep, earned a spot on the State All Star Team. Pimentel had an exceptional season with a .548 batting average. His impressive stats include 40 hits and 41 RBI. Evan belted three home runs and was a perfect 15 for 15 in stolen bases. He also scored 33 runs and had an errorless season defensively. In addition to his superb offense and out field play, Evan was a perfect 3-0 on the mound. One might say that earning a spot on the all star team is a perfect ending to a near perfect senior year. The all star game will be played on Saturday, June 13th in Mercer County Park, West Windsor, NJ at 11:00 am.
