County Prep Student Selected As Goldman Sachs Scholar
Stephanie Teodoro chosen as a member of the newest class of Goldman Sachs Scholars.
Senior Stephanie Teodoro has been selected as a Goldman Sachs Scholar. As a member of GS Scholars, Stephanie will participate in a program that will include a series of four interactive learning modules that will be conducted at Goldman Sachs’ New York campus. GS Scholars will focus on building professional skills and networking, attend seminars explaining the various lines of business in financial services and attend a four day Undergraduate Camp that will focus on leadership skills and careers in business.
As a First-Year Scholar she will receive a 15 week subscription to the Wall Street Journal and be matched up with a Second-Year Scholar who will serve as a “Big Buddy”.
Since 1998, over 250 students have participated in the Scholars program with many going on to hold summer and full-time positions at Goldman Sachs. Scholars are encouraged to apply for a summer internship at Goldman Sachs, as well as the Goldman Sachs Scholarship for Excellence.
Principal Barbara Mendolla congratulates Stephanie on her accomplishments. She excelled as a business major at County Prep and was recommended by her instructor Mr. John Anzivino to interview for the internship position at Goldman Sachs. Stephanie is a member the National Honor Society and Student Government. Her contributions to the community and school are many. As Valedictorian of the Class of 2009 Stephanie will be recognized at the Twenty-Second Annual Academic Achievement Recognition Program Dinner on Wednesday, May 20th.
