(Wayne, NJ - January 10, 2009) Members of County Prep’s HOSA (Health Occupations Students of America) along with club moderator, Mrs. Eileen Garrett, attended the Northern New Jersey Regional HOSA Competitions. The competition was held at the Passaic County Institute of Technology in Wayne, New Jersey.

The students representing County Prep participated in many events and won medals in several areas. In the Job Seeking Skills event, County Prep won four medals with sophomore Shelli Patel taking 1st place. Sophomores Tushar Patel, Puja Patel and Megha Dharia placed 2nd, 4th and 6th respectively. In the Extemporaneous Health Poster competition sophomore Yameen Arshad won 3rd place.

The winning students received medals and those who placed 1st through 5th qualified to participate in the New Jersey State HOSA Competition in March.

Principal Barbara Mendolla would like to congratulate the students and Mrs. Garrett on their achievements.
