(Westampton, NJ - March 28, 2009) Members of County Prep's Health Occupations Students of America along with club moderator, Mrs. Eileen Garrett, attended the New Jersey State HOSA Competitions at Burlington County Institute of Technology. The students representing County Prep participated in several areas. In the Job Seeking Skills event, County Prep won three medals with sophomore Tushar Patel taking first place. Sophomores Shelli Patel and Puja Patel placed 4th and 5th respectively. In Career Health Display, seniors Rajshri Hirpara and Ifrah Hussain took 3rd place.
The winning students received medals and those who placed 1st through 3rd have qualified to represent the state of New Jersey at the 32nd Annual HOSA National Conference in Nashville, Tennessee. The Conference will be held June 24 - June 27, 2009.
