(Bayonne- March 10, 2009) The National Honor Society of County Prep High School celebrated Dr. Seuss Birthday with Bailey School students of Bayonne.

County Prep’s chapter of the National Honor Society was delighted to partake in the Bayonne School District’s Celebrate Dr. Seuss Day announced Principal Barbara Mendolla. This annual event promotes reading and gives the members of the National Honor Society the opportunity to interact with elementary school students thus enabling them to give back to the community. In addition to reading books such as “One Fish, Two Fish” and “Cat in the Hat” the members of the honor society planned several fun activities for the day.

Moderator, Ms. Ann Gherardi and the members of the NHS were pleased to donate the books to the students and are looking forward to participating in Dr. Seuss Day next year.
