(Martinsville, NJ) Congratulations to Christine Mercado, County Prep senior, for winning a judges award at The 2009 Pingry School Student Photography Show in Martinsville, NJ. Christine is an art student of Ms. Charlene Caputo-Kahse. This marks the fourth year that students of Mr. Gerard Patten and Ms. Kahse have participated in the show. A total of twenty-three photos, taken by County Prep students, were submitted for judging.

Thirteen high schools participated in the show this year and hundreds of photos were submitted for adjudication. Twenty-three award winners were selected by judge Nancy Ori. An opening reception will take place on Friday, February 27 between 6:00 and 7:30 PM. The show will hang in the Hostetter Gallery until March 11. All are invited to attend.
