Fordham University and County Prep’s Angelika Dabu a Match
(Jersey City - March 3, 2010) Star tennis player Angelika Dabu signs letter of intent.
County Prep's Queen of the Courts, Angelika Dabu signed a letter of intent for a full scholarship at Fordham University. Proudly looking on as she signed were her parents, Alex and Dowena Dabu, head tennis coach Gunther Pelipada, assistant tennis coach Eugene Wallace, Athletic Director Mike Rooney and Principal Barbara Mendolla.
Angelika's tennis career at County Prep High School has been outstanding. She possesses a 72-0 record in Hudson County and has achieved the title of Hudson County Singles Champion three times and All County First Team Singles selection for four years. Her exceptional talent has earned the tennis team two State Team Division Titles and three Hudson County Titles.
