HIGH TECH ALUMNUS TO SPEAK ON CIA’S UNDERGRADUATE PROGRAMS

(North Bergen, NJ—February 7, 2007) A former High Tech student will be visiting the school on March 2nd to address juniors and seniors on Science, Technology, Engineering and the Arts careers offered by the Central Intelligence Agency, announced Principal Karol Brancato.

In addition to addressing these academic areas, the alumnus’s presentation shall include an overview of the CIA and the intelligence community. The discussion will touch upon the roles of scientists, technologists, engineers and artists in the CIA, but the key component of the presentation speaks to student programs like the Undergraduate Scholarship Program, which offers tuition assistance and a salary to students on work study as they pursue their undergraduate degrees.

The presentation will be held in the Black Box Theater. Juniors will arrive for the first presentation at 9am. Seniors arrive for the next discussion at 1:30pm.
