(Jersey City, NJ—February 8, 2007) Jersey City Museum, which showcases exciting works from local and professional talent, has chosen ten students and two alumni from High Tech High’s Animation class to screen their digital videos as part of the museum’s Young Video-Makers Series, announced Principal Karol Brancato.
The event featured digital videos created by Jo Christelle Aguilar, Dante Close and Catherine DeLeon of Jersey City; Bayonne residents Lauren Biscaldi and Katherine Kadian; Michael Mazzone and Joseph Rozano of Hoboken; North Bergen residents Jenina Podulka and Erik Solan; Jonathan Escobar and Erik Gonzalez of West New York; and Samuel Talbot of Harrison. Students wrote, directed and animated the videos in collaboration and under the guidance of their teacher, Santiago Cohen. In addition to the animated videos by these High Tech students, the Young Video-Makers Series also screened collaborative video works from West New York Middle School and Memorial High School.
