COUNTY PREP KEY CLUB AND NATIONAL HONOR SOCIETY JOIN READ ACROSS AMERICA

(Jersey City, NJ — March 3, 2007) The Key Club and National Honor Society team up for the National Educations Associations’ 10th annual Read Across America celebration, to help raise reading awareness among Hudson County youth. Officers and members from both organizations were divided into groups and visited the Bailey School in Bayonne, PS#12 and PS#17 in Jersey City.
Students used money raised from previous fundraisers to buy books for the schools. In honor of the famous children’s author Theodore Geisel’s birthday, the students chose a variety of Dr. Seuss classics, such as Green Eggs and Ham, the Cat in the Hat, Hop on Pop, and more.
