(Jersey City, NJ - February 5, 2007) Five County Prep Students that applied to the Governor's School of New Jersey are finalists for five of the six Governeor's School of the Arts programs. Results of the final evaluation will be mailed to the student's homes on April 9, 2007.
The student finalists are: Rona Marco, finalist in the School of Science's program at Drew University; Christina Vo, finalist for the Schoool of Public Issues program at Monmouth University, Alexa Dabu, finalist for the School of International Studies program at Ramapo College; Manpreet Khaneja, finalist for the School of Engineering and Technology program at Rutgers University, and Annie Y. Ko, finalist for the School fo the Environment program at Stockton State College.
The Governor's School of the Arts is an intense four-week residential program at The College of New Jersey that emphasizes extensive study in the fields of creative writing, dance, music (vocal and instrumental), theatre, video/film production, and visual arts.
