High Tech’s Musical Theatre Presents Disney’s Aladdin

(North Bergen—February 12, 2010) As part of its ongoing commitment to bringing professional-style entertainment and artistry to its secondary school environment, High Tech Musical Theatre presents its new, lavish spring 2010 production, Walt Disney’s Aladdin, announced Dr. Joseph Giammarella, Director of High Tech High School and Academy of Architectural & Contemporary Themes (AACT).

Based on the classic animated feature, the High Tech Musical Theatre troupe of 50 talented students will sing, dance, play instruments, and entertain audiences with its renditions of such Oscar-winning songs as “A Whole New World,” “Prince Ali,” and “A Friend Like Me.”

The musical extravaganza about the exciting tale of Aladdin, Princess Jasmine, the crazy Genie, and, of course, the wicked Jafar will open for all students on Friday, March 12th, at 10am, and then on Thursday, March 18, at 10am at the Black Box Theatre, located at Hudson County Schools of Technology’s North Hudson Center in North Bergen. School groups will receive a special discount of $10 a ticket for these shows.

High Tech Musical Theatre invites the public to see its performances of Walt Disney’s Aladdin on March 11th-March 13th and March 18th-20th at 7pm. Two matinee shows will be offered on Saturday, March 13th and Saturday, March 20th at 2pm. Tickets for all shows are $15.
