KAS Prep’s premiere Construction Trades program is proud to announce their participation in the New Jersey State Elks Association 2010 Youth Leadership Conference.  Eleven of our students spent February 5 – 7 at the Ocean Place Resort & Spa in Long Branch along with over 500 other students from various schools throughout New Jersey.  The conference incorporated motivational speakers, workshops related to substance awareness and prevention, effective decision making and stressed the importance of making a difference in the community.  

KAS Prep students were actively involved throughout the weekend.  We were honored to have our very own Louis Mejia assist the keynote presenter, Dr. Mike Thomson during the closing remarks – GO KAS PREP!!

Generally, this opportunity gave students a chance to meet new people, learn new skills and overall, have fun.
