High Tech Graduates Work Hard During the Summer

Former graduate Wilmer Cerda has returned to Mayo, Lynch and Associates Inc., in Secaucus to work during the summer before returning for his second year in College.  Also, recent graduate Geovanny Antonio De La Cruz has returned to Laurence E. Parisi, P.C. Architect in North Bergen to work during the summer before attending NJIT in the Fall.

Class of 2008 makes the grade

Even after 17 years on the job, things haven't gotten stale for High Tech High School principal Karol M. Brancato. "Every graduating class has its own personality," she said recently. "They can be playful or serious. This one has a very nice tone. They're very generous and kind spirited." High Tech is a countywide school based in North Bergen, part of the Hudson County Schools of Technology.

High Tech Athletes Named to All-HCIAA Tennis Team

WKAS Radio Huge Hit With Students

This semester in Mr. Richardson’s class the students created another weekly radio show to add on to the accomplishments of last year’s History, Jazz and Me which aired on WHIT radio. The new show for this year was titled KAS Culture and helped to launch the new WKAS radio station. The show would be broadcasted live on the air every Wednesday and Thursday. Students learned many things by just being involved with a radio show in general. They were able to go behind the scenes to see and feel what it was like to be a real radio broadcaster.

County Prep Student Oyster Gardeners Help Preserve Ecology of Hudson-Raritan Estuary
