Gradebook Doesn't Launch: Browser Java Settings
When a teacher clicks on Launch Gradebook in the PowerTeacher Portal, PowerTeacher Gradebook does not launch. What can I do?
The most common reason for this issue is that the teacher's machine either does not have Java installed, or the browser preference is set to disable Java.
First, click the link below the Launch Gradebook button in PowerTeacher. This function begins a check of the machine to determine if Java is ready, missing, or disabled.
If the following message displays "gradebook is ready to launch," attempt to launch PowerTeacher Gradebook again.
If the following message displays "Sorry, Java is not detected," check your browser preferences to determine if Java is disabled. Use the following directions to set the browser preferences to enable Java.
