This 100% online AutoCAD 2021 training course will teach you how to create and edit a simple drawing, with a focus on the 2D tools within AutoCAD. Hardware Requirements:
This course must be taken on a PC device. A Mac OS is not compatible.
Software Requirements:
PC: Windows 7 or later operating systems.
Browser: The latest version of Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox are preferred. Microsoft Edge is also compatible.
AutoCAD 2021. A free 1-year student version of the software is included. You will be provided directions on how to download the student license for the software after registration. The student software license cannot be used in a commercial environment.
Note: If you have previously accessed a free trial of the Autodesk software, you may be required to purchase it separately to complete this course.

Jennifer MacMillan holds a mechanical engineering degree from Dalhousie University, Nova Scotia, Canada. She has been teaching CAD for 25 years and is an AutodeskĀ® Certified Instructor (ACI). She currently manages a team of curriculum developers that design and develop both online and print curriculum for the Autodesk line of engineering software products. As a subject matter expert herself, she focuses her development efforts working specifically with the manufacturing software products. Jennifer has always enjoyed teaching and passing her knowledge and interest in CAD on to her students.
Renu Muthoo is a Computer Engineering graduate from Bangalore University, India. She has worked with Autodesk, Inc. products for the past 22 years, focusing mainly on AutoCAD/AutoCAD verticals and Autodesk's design visualization software products such as 3ds Max and VRED. Using her engineering background, expertise in Autodesk products, and training in Instructional design, she has co-authored numerous books for various CAD audiences. In her current role, she works as a curriculum developer and subject matter expert, developing and writing training courseware for Autodesk products.

How long does it take to complete this course?
After you register, you will receive 6 months to complete the course. The time allotted for completion has been calculated based on the number of course hours.

If you are unable to complete the course, contact your Student Advisor to help you work out a suitable completion date. Please note that an extension fee will be charged. If you are funded through a third-party organization, approval may also be required.

Upon successfully passing the final exam, you will be awarded a certificate of completion from Hudson Technical at The Hudson County Schools of Technology that you registered through.
