(Jersey City, NJ - May 20, 2013) Theatre Arts and Musical theatre students from County Prep participated in the Alliance of Teen Artists Festival which took place at New Jersey City University. Art instructor, Ms. Charlene Kahse is an on-site coordinator for the Hudson County Alliance of Teen Artists. The students presented scenes for the Small Group Drama Division and the Musical Theatre Division. Each performance was followed by a very useful critique by NJCU Theatre and Musical Theatre professors.

(Oxford, NJ) County Prep and Career Academy students visited the Pequest Trout Hatchery for an educational field trip on May 9, 2013. The students were introduced to hatchery procedures and were instructed regarding safe fishing by Jessica Griglak, program coordinator. With the assistance of their instructors and the volunteer staff from the hatchery, the students were able to reel in their catch and present their specimens to the HCST culinary arts instructors who made a meal of them.
