Studio Arts I/II (10/10 credits)
This course offers a systematic approach to visual problem solving starting with simple basic concepts and elements, and progressing to a complex understanding of visual language. Aesthetics and art appreciation will be discussed in order to develop the student's judgment and artistic taste. Portfolio development and field trips to museums and galleries will augment the in-class activities.
Prerequisite for Studio Arts I: Interview with instructor.
Prerequisite for Studio Arts II: Studio Arts I or Portfolio/Instructor's recommendation
